A beautiful and spacious country house.
Fully equipped and in good working order.
A lovely piece of land/play area with a charming little river running through it.
Feel free to order firewood—we highly recommend using the fireplace on the terrace in the summer; it’s super cozy.
The pool is absolutely fantastic, with a great temperature (thanks again for that, Mark, by the way).
The sauna works perfectly.
All in all, a wonderful experience that I was able to share with our children and grandchildren.
One thing I do want to comment on is the road that runs alongside and borders the property. Crossing the road to get to your car or to pull out of the parking lot onto the road is truly life-threatening. There’s a curve right in front of the cottage, so visibility is poor, and the speed limit is 70 km/h!! Something needs to be done about this, though I’m not entirely sure what. (A mirror for oncoming traffic and/or speed bumps.) This is bound to go wrong someday.
But the cottage itself—once again, fantastic!!
It was also nice and clean and well-maintained.
I definitely want to come back here someday.
