Lovely loft like space in part of farmhouse with large living space with two dining areas, a sitting area with wood stove and open kitchen. The farm has been in our family for generations and now my brother lives with his family in the front house and we as a family use this part for weekends and vacations to escape the city. The stairs take you upstairs where there is the bathroom, a children's room with bunk bed and the master bedroom. There is excellent wifi as we also work from here. The kitchen also fully equipped and there is a large amount of spices, oil, vinegar, tea etc available. Linen is always in stock and you do not need to bring anything. Overall lovely big house, ideal with small children.
Nature and surroundings
The farm is located against the beautiful rijn strangen area in Ooy near Zevenaar. There are many clog paths and lots of cycling routes, a natural swimming pool. It surprises me every time there actually that it is not more touristy, it is beautiful there in all seasons.
