"Between heaven and earth", the hut and its dome overlooking a private pond will give you a change of scenery. For relaxation, the terrace facing the pond and the BBQ area are yours to enjoy. You'll sleep in a double bed in either the hut or the dome. As part of our eco-responsible approach, we use 2 solar panels to provide the minimum of lighting and refrigeration. A kitchenette with gas stove and cooking utensils provides a minimum of comfort, while dry toilets are located inside. There is no running water. A daily 20L jerrycan is provided, and solar shower bags allow you to enjoy the outdoor shower. The hut is made of waterproof resin. When you arrive, you can park your car next to the Oise river and set off for a 300m walk along a footpath to the hut. You'll need walking shoes, and boots are even welcome in wet weather.

Nature activities include mountain biking and canoeing on the River Oise. Numerous hiking trails are close to the gite, which is just a stone's throw from the green axis and on the EuroVélo itinerary. The gite is located in the Thiérache region, close to the Belgian border, next to the French Ardennes, an hour's drive from the Champagne region. This region is famous for its rolling countryside, farms and churches. Not to be missed is Guise, with its castle and familistère just 3km away. Nature, peace & environment:What a blissful few days we had. Completely lost in nature. Super slept in the dome and wake up with birds singing. Also super nice walks in the neighborhood. Highly recommended.
