Unwind in this detached cottage with private terrace in a shared garden with green lawns, fruit trees and beautiful views. This guest house is about 65 m2 and located in the grounds of an old national monument on the river Lek. The cottage is completely renovated and equipped with a bathroom, kitchenette and two comfortable bedrooms where you sleep in the silence of the countryside and enjoy the impressive starry sky at night. Perfect for families or couples, with a sofa in the living room and plenty of seating at the dining table. From the living room there is a view of the sun-drenched terrace and beyond that the spacious garden for an evening walk after a day out in the area. Beds are made on arrival and the kitchenette is equipped with a Nespresso machine, a set of kitchen linens and cooking utensils to make your own dishes. There is also free Wi-Fi and on-site parking.
Nature and surroundings
Surrounded by greenery, but at the same time centrally located in the country between charming towns like Wijk bij Duurstede, orange town Buren and Culemborg. Larger cities such as Utrecht and Den Bosch are located about 35 minutes by car, and Amsterdam can be reached within an hour. Peace seekers, outdoorsmen and nature lovers have come to the right place with several hiking and cycling routes just around the corner. Nearby you will find hidden beaches on the Lek River, lakes for swimming and small bike ferries to explore the river area. The bakery in the nearby village is open almost daily and supermarkets, restaurants and various markets can also be found in the villages around the B&B.
