Nature house in Hombourg

Fine cottage, very nicely decorated and feels really nice. Pretty complete and nice sitting areas outside. Is I think nicer with nice weather :). Sleeping area not too easily accessible and low - won't be for everyone.

Fijn huisje, heel mooi ingericht en voelt echt fijn. Vrij compleet en leuke zitplekken buiten. Is denk ik fijner met mooi weer :). Slaapgedeelte niet al te makkelijk toegankelijk en laag - zal niet voor iedereen zijn.

Beautifully located nature house. Unfortunately, below it is a kind of canopy where several times groups of children descended. And above it is also a vacation home for larger groups which we were quite bothered by on weekends.

Mooi gelegen natuurhuisje. Helaas is eronder een soort overkapping waar een aantal keer groepen kinderen neerstreken. En erboven zit ook een vakantiewoning voor grotere groepen waar we aardig wat last van hadden in het weekend.

Curtain for toilet, describe more clearly what is around it, possibly make arrangements regarding noise pollution? Specify more clearly that towels are not available.

Gordijn voor WC, duidelijker beschrijven wat eromheen ligt, mogelijk afspraken maken ivm geluidsoverlast? Duidelijker aangeven dat er geen handdoeken beschikbaar zijn.

The cottage itself looks fine and the surroundings seem nice at first. The arrival was still quite charming. But it soon became clear that this is not a place to really unwind. To the right is a cafe that goes on with music and noise until about two in the morning. To the left is some kind of campground where children are constantly screaming. If you come here for the silence of nature you must be especially lucky if there is nothing going on just for a moment. On the few quiet moments we could indeed hear birds singing, but that was rare. What was also not clearly stated: you have to bring your own towels. Maybe not the end of the world, but it should just be clearly stated somewhere.In addition, there is little privacy. From the building above you, people look right into the toilet. There is not even a curtain in front of the toilet. The sauna is also not shielded, so you can't just walk around there scantily clad. We will not return, a shame.

Het huisje zelf ziet er prima uit en de omgeving lijkt in eerste instantie leuk. De aankomst was nog best charmant. Maar al snel bleek dat dit geen plek is om echt tot rust te komen.

Aan de rechterkant zit een café dat tot een uur of twee 's nachts doorgaat met muziek en rumoer. Links zit een soort camping waar constant kinderen aan het schreeuwen zijn. Als je hier komt voor de stilte van de natuur moet je vooral geluk hebben dat er net even niks aan de hand is. Op de paar rustige momenten hoorden we inderdaad vogels fluiten, maar dat was zeldzaam.

Wat ook niet duidelijk vermeld stond: je moet zelf handdoeken meenemen. Misschien niet het einde van de wereld, maar het hoort gewoon ergens duidelijk te staan.

Daarnaast is er weinig privacy. Vanuit het gebouw boven je kijken mensen zo het toilet in. Er hangt niet eens een gordijn voor het toilet. De sauna is ook niet afgeschermd, dus daar kun je niet zomaar schaars gekleed heenlopen. Wij komen niet meer terug, zonde.

The cottage was very nice and tiny. We had a wonderful stay here.

Het huisje was erg mooi en tiny. We hadden een heerlijk verblijf hier.
