The Nature House, 85 m2, can accommodate 6 people. It is in a rural location on the edge of the forest near Assisi Umbria. It is located in a beautiful Regional Natural Park, a Unesco World Heritage Area. A special oasis of peace and energy can be felt in this area. You have access to a spacious house with many amenities, 2 bedrooms and 1 sofa bed. There is a colorful garden and lawn with deck chairs, large terrace and balcony. This gives you all the space you need to relax and enjoy beautiful views such as Monte Subasio. You can choose any time of the day to be in the shade or sun. Because of its location, you have a lot of privacy. Of course free parking.The property is 3 hectares of which 2 hectares of forest. The olive orchard and small vineyard will be restored. There will be a fruit orchard, vegetable garden and fields of Mediterranean herbs for essential oil. Everything is grown organically and in harmony with nature. Hans will be happy to show you around.
Nature and surroundings
The flora and fauna are diverse, key flowers, crested hyacinths, and orchids. Wild boar, porcupines, red deer, and birds of prey. The colorful Hoopoe can often be seen and heard. Swarms of dancing fireflies can be seen at night and color the evening, right by the house. The area is a calcareous hilly landscape with deep gorges and springs where the water rises from Monte Subasio and continues its way through waterfalls and (swimming) lakes. From the house you have direct access to the long-distance paths that lead you over the medieval bridge the Ponte Marchetto and over the gorge which are located on our estate. you can swim in natural lakes within walking distance and make beautiful bike tours around the Subasio. Assisi can be reached by car within 15 minutes. Cultural history from the Etruscan to Roman times and Middle Ages, is never far away. Umbria is centrally located and cities like Rome, Perugia and Florence are within easy reach also by rail.
