The house/log cabin was very neat and well-maintained. It looks beautiful, and everything is there. The owners had placed some flowers in the garden and left a small gift. Very nice and friendly people. The price included a sofa bed. We ended up sleeping well on it and left it set up as a bed every day. Plenty of space. Since it was fairly chilly in the evening, we watched TV, and with my laptop and KPN TV, we were still able to receive Dutch channels and others. The kitchen is nice, with a large refrigerator and freezer compartment. There’s also a dishwasher. Separate toilet and a nice shower with a powerful water jet. Huge soft towels for after the shower. Everything was well-maintained and complete. A very large covered terrace/balcony where you can sit with a beautiful view. We happened to be there during a somewhat cold week (12–18°C) to sit out there every day. But it was lovely for walking. There’s a Lidl nearby. Around the house, there are still spots upstairs to sit, and you’re welcome to use the pool. It all looks well-maintained.

Het bedrag betrof een slaapbank. Achteraf sliepen we daar goed in en we lieten het als bed elke dag zo staan. Ruimte zat. Omdat het redelijk fris was in de avond keken we tv en met mijn laptop en kpn-tv konden we toch Nederlandse zenders en anderen ontvangen. De keuken is prettig met een grote koelkast en vriesvak. Vaatwasser ook aanwezig. Apart toilet en prettige douche met krachtige straal water. Enorme zachte handdoeken voor na het douchen. Alles goed verzorgd en compleet. Een heel groot overdekt terras/balkon waar je kunt zitten met mooi uitzicht. Wij zaten net in een wat koude week (12-18 gr) om daar elke dag te zitten. Maar om te wandelen heerlijk. Een Lidl zit in de buurt. Rondom het huis zijn er boven nog plekjes om te zitten en je mag gebruik maken vh zwembad. Het ziet er allemaal verzorgd uit

Mooie wandelingen door bos maar ook paden door weilanden. Wij gebruikten de Komootapp die ons bracht (zelf route) waar je zelf niet op zou komen dat stuk weiland op te lopen. Bijzonder. De plaats Wissen viel ons tegen. Veel verwaarloos, leegstand en gesloten. Hachenburg een mooie oude plaats met vakwerkhuizen.
