Welcome to our Finnish log cabin in the Westerwald, your place of relaxation and recreation. The idyllic and very quietly situated log cabin on our private path offers you the perfect time-out in the middle of nature. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the fresh air and the lovingly furnished rooms. Thanks to the solid log construction, the house offers a wonderful indoor climate, it is lovingly and well furnished and offers you the perfect retreat after a day in nature. Living in a log home offers benefits including natural aesthetics, good insulation, durability and a connection to nature. The house exudes a rustic warmth and is energy efficient. In 2024, a separate bedroom with bathroom was added on the ground floor, which can optionally be booked on site.
Nature and surroundings
Spend your vacation here in Helmeroth, a small village in the middle of the Westerwald. Situated close to the forest on a south-facing slope, you have a beautiful view of "Kroppacher Schweiz". The large covered balcony invites you to linger at any time of the year. Vacations, relaxation in peace and nature in the beautiful Nistertal, in the middle of the hilly landscape extends our idyllic natural property, a place that captivates those seeking relaxation and revitalizes the soul. Watch the sunrise over the treetops or the deer grazing in the meadow right next door and start the day in a relaxed manner. In the evening, the setting sun creates a beautiful atmosphere, perfect for cozy evening hours around the campfire or with a glass of wine. The Nister, a small river for swimming, and the Westerwald Steig for hiking enthusiasts, are just a few minutes' walk away. The second largest suspension rope bridge in the Rhineland is also located here in the village.
