Our cozy vacation home offers the perfect setting to both unwind and explore the beautiful surroundings. The accommodation is located amidst historical charm and beautiful nature, near Slot Zuylen and the center of Utrecht. Upon entering you enter the cozy living room with comfortable furniture, also there is a fully equipped kitchen with dining table. Coffee machine (Nespresso) available. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. The vacation home also offers a pleasant terrace to enjoy the beautiful garden and surrounding nature. The vacation house is located in the yard of the residential farm the "Lindeboom".

Castle Oud-Zuilen, also known as Slot Zuylen, is within walking distance. This historic castle dates from the 13th century and is known for its beautiful gardens and rich history; it was once home to author Belle van Zuylen. Oud Zuilen is a 15-minute drive (by bike) from the center of Utrecht. Good public transport facilities within walking distance to both Utrecht and Amsterdam. Bicycle boat available to Nieuwersluis with stops in Maarssen and Breukelen. Beautiful nature walks in the immediate vicinity. Maarsseveense plassen within walking distance and the moors around Westbroek and Tienhoven. My parents and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Oud Zuilen. The cottage is tremendously spacious (much larger than it looks in the pictures), modern and well equipped. We also found it very clean and smelling wonderful, compliments! It's a good base for nice walks in the area (e.g. to Slot Zuylen, which is at the end of the street), or a visit to one of the villages in the area. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. All in all, I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely return there ourselves!
Mijn ouders en ik hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit prachtige huisje in Oud Zuilen. Het huisje is enorm ruim (veel groter dan het op de foto’s lijkt), modern en goed voorzien. Wij vonden het ook heel schoon en heerlijk ruiken, complimenten! Het is een goede uitvalsbasis om lekker te wandelen in de omgeving (bv naar Slot Zuylen, wat aan het einde van de straat ligt), of een bezoekje te brengen aan een van de dorpen in de omgeving. De gastheren waren ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Al met al zou ik deze plek ontzettend aanraden en wij komen er zelf ook zeker weer een keer terug!
