Domaine du bonheur Looking for a quiet place for your vacation. With lots of nature, beautiful activities, such as hiking, cycling, yoga or visiting the many castles of the Creuse. Near the heart of Moutier d'Ahun, a beautiful old village in the quiet and lovely department of the Creuse, is our attractive two-person cottage. The gîte which is located in the old barn of the old farm Domaine du Bonheur has its own entrance through the orchard, which is also your garden, and has an attractive layout. Private parking is available on the 300m2 fenced grounds. A stay can be extended to include breakfast and, in high season, a communal dinner. Yoga classes can be taken for relaxation. The accommodation of 40 m² has a bedroom with a bed of 160*200. A bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. A small sitting area and an equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, 4-burner induction hob, 2 sinks and combination oven.
Nature and surroundings
The Creuse region of France is very green and has many areas for hiking, biking and other outdoor activities. Moutier d'Ahun was even voted one of the 10 most beautiful small villages in France. In the village, the old church and the Roman bridge are the tourist attractions. And not to forget the local restaurant. We ourselves like to take a walk along the Creuse River. In the area there are many old historic Chateau's and churches to find and visit. The old villages like Aubusson and Felletin are definitely worth a visit. Also for the weekly local produce markets. In the summer months there are many annual markets and Vide Greniers.Other attractions: Gueret "Wolf park" and "Mais maze" (20min), Toulx-Sainte-Croix "Pierres Jaumatres" (35min) Restaurant and outdoor activities, canoeing and horseback riding at a 30min distance. Montlucon (40min), Limoges (1h), Puy de Dome (1.5h). Plenty to do for the adventurous among us.
