This is a lovely cozy villa on the edge of the protected nature reserve of Worpswede. The living room has a cozy sitting area with fireplace, where beautiful evenings can be enjoyed. From the terrace you can look straight into the Teufelsmoor and regularly see deer, buzzards and sometimes a fox. In the kitchen you can prepare a nice meal, 4-burner stove with oven and a spacious refrigerator are available. In typical "Worpswede"-style you can eat at the table in the Diele or have a nice discussion.Is working in peace your thing? On the 1st floor there is an antique desk with all the space and a wonderful view. Don't be distracted by the squirrels! Sleep up to 5 people (real beds, no sofa beds!). The large bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, the smaller bedroom has two single beds. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower. Do you also enjoy your first coffee on the balcony?
Nature and surroundings
Sleep on the edge of a nature reserve? Hear only the sounds of animals? Spotting deer and seeing squirrels playing in the garden? That's The Refuge, literally end-of-the-road. And yet within walking distance of the culinary and artistic heart of the artist village of Worpswede. Bio-shop, bakeries, supermarkets and bike rental are also within 20 minutes walking distance. The area is characterized by peace, nature and freedom. It invites to hiking through the moor landscape (Teufelsmoor) or cycling. Picking blueberries, horseback riding, grabbing a terrace or canoeing? Everything is possible in the vicinity!
