Between land and sea, just 25 minutes from the sea, at the gateway to the Bay of Canche and the Bay of the Authie and set in a large wooded park, Le Clos de Marenla occupies a building dating from the 19th century. Here, the gîte combines natural country charm with modern comfort, conducive to letting go, in the calm, friendly environment of a little corner of the countryside, in the 7 valleys on the banks of the Canche and 7 minutes from the famous fortified town of Montreuil sur Mer. You'll find a bedroom with a wood-burning stove, a living room, a large fully-equipped kitchen to cook your meals, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. For a week in the fresh air, a short stay near the seaside or a romantic weekend, come and enjoy a stay "just like home", whatever the season. Your cozy accommodation is carefully prepared for solo or duo vacations. The beds are made up and the bath sheets smell fresh! A tasty and varied breakfast is served.
Nature and surroundings
Le Clos de Marenla is located in the countryside, in the Pays des Vallées d'Opale, near Montreuil-sur-Mer, 25 minutes from the beaches of the Côte d'Opale and 45 minutes from the Baie de Somme. Forest and outdoor activities are just a stone's throw from the gite. There's no shortage of rivers here, so if you're into hiking, boating or cycling, the Pays des Vallées d'Opale is the place to be! Le Clos de Marenla is surrounded by numerous naturally managed trees and shrubs, which have created a beautiful ecological balance, accompanied by a great diversity of plants and small wild animals that find refuge in our meadow and small wood. We are also associated with the French League for the Protection of Birds.
