Nature house in Ferran

The nature house is very quietly located and currently has 2 fully renovated & modernly furnished vacation homes: Gîte A'muse (max. 3 adults + 2k.): South gîte with living space on glv with sitting area & open, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, with French doors to south facing terrace. Spacious bedroom on the 1st floor with double bed + single bed. Modern bathroom with double washbasin, walk-in rain shower, toilet and towel dryer. In the living room an easy folding sofa bed (for 2 children or young adults, without moving bed linen etc.). Airco/heating available. Gîte B'loft (max. 6p.): North gîte on the 1st floor, accessible by outside stairs to private north terrace. Living area furnished as a loft with open, fully equipped kitchen with cooking island. 2 separate bedrooms, each with a double bed and in the living room a convertible sofa bed for 2 people. 2 bathrooms each with a sink, walk-in rain shower & toilet. Internet (WiFi) available. No pets.

The two cottages are part of an old wine estate, located at the end of a cul-de-sac with views all around over the surrounding hills, north to the Montagne Noir, south to the Pyrenees. The gîtes are located in territory Ferran, a small, very quiet village with about 100 inhabitants in the heart of the Cathar region, less than half an hour drive from the city of Carcassonne with its medieval cité, a walled old town. Although the property is extremely quiet, it is nevertheless easily accessible, just 15 kilometers from a freeway slip road. In the near and wider surroundings, as an ideal change from the complete tranquility of the property itself, there is a wide range of sporting & cultural activities. During the high season, an above-ground swimming pool is available.
