Our B&B is located in a characterful old hunting lodge and is in a cul-de-sac surrounded by meadows and forests. Here you will discover what silence can mean. The 1.2-hectare garden consists of meadow, forest, vegetable garden and fruit orchard. It lends itself perfectly to immersing yourself in that great book or enjoying the surrounding landscape. You might even see a roe deer or fox that regularly stop by. Garden furniture is at your disposal to help you find a nice spot in the coolness of the large linden, oak and ash trees. Les Chênes is a small apartment on the second floor and consists of two separate bedrooms, a sitting area with library and a shared bathroom. It is rented as a whole for 1 to 5 people. Box springs offer optimal sleeping comfort. Table d'hôtes is possible by appointment. A nice meal with a good glass of wine in an inspiring environment is what we want to offer our guests, together with the feeling of being really welcome.
Nature and surroundings
A stone's throw from here begins the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan, with its forests and wilderness. There you will find the magnificent site of Bibracte, the last Gallic stronghold against Roman domination. In our immediate vicinity you can make beautiful walks through forests and open fields, go swimming in the nearby lakes or bike along the Canal du Nivernais where you can discover the underground vaults by electric boat. Perfect getaway during very hot weather. Corbigny is the largest town nearby with all amenities. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, butchers, etc. It is 12 km away and can be reached by bike via a quiet road. One of the most beautiful villages in France, Vézelay, with its famous basilica, is half an hour away by car. A must-see in the area, along with Vauban's castle in Bazoches. In the villages, where time seems to stand still, flea markets or concerts are organized from spring onwards. Always very pleasant.

It was beautiful, the house itself but especially the surroundings. We woke up every morning to the sound of birds and the cows mooing in the meadow. And then the morning started well with a delicious breakfast. Really everything was fresh, homemade jam, rolls and even the granola. We will definitely come back!!!
Wij komen zeker terug!!
What a wonderful place to unwind. That is exactly what we were looking for, and we absolutely found it here. Every day we looked forward to having breakfast again. The people here are very kind and hospitable, you immediately feel welcome. Everything radiates warmth and attention. The surroundings are also beautiful and really add to the relaxed feeling.
This text is automatically translated. -

Very charming B&B with hospitable hosts who, if desired, also serve a delicious dinner with a good glass of wine. The well-cared-for breakfast, in the garden when the weather is nice, is a wonderful start to the day. The rooms are nicely decorated with brocante trinkets, a good bed and everything else that makes for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our stay.
The cottage has a fantastic, park-like garden that includes an orchard and a vegetable garden. There are several seating areas where you can enjoy a sunset with the only sound being the twittering of the birds. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings for biking, hiking or a cultural outing.
