This nature house is a characterful old hunting lodge, built in the late 18th century. It is located in a cul-de-sac, surrounded by meadows and forests. Here you will discover what silence and peace can mean. The garden of 1.2 hectares consists of meadow, forest, vegetable garden and fruit orchard. It lends itself perfectly to quietly immerse yourself in that great book or enjoy the surrounding landscape. You might even see one of the deer or foxes that frequent our place. Garden furniture is at your disposal to help you find a nice spot in the coolness of the large linden, oak and ash trees. The house has three rooms available that guarantee privacy and tranquility. The beds all have box springs and offer optimal sleeping comfort. Table d'hôtes is possible by prior arrangement. A nice meal with a good glass of wine in an inspiring environment is what we want to offer our guests, together with the feeling of being really welcome.
Nature and surroundings
A stone's throw from here begins the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan, with its forests and wilderness. There you will find the magnificent site of Bibracte, the last Gallic stronghold against Roman domination. In our immediate vicinity you can make beautiful walks through forests and open fields, go swimming in the nearby lakes or bike along the Canal du Nivernais where you can discover the underground vaults by electric boat. Perfect getaway during very hot weather. Corbigny is the largest town nearby with all amenities. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, butchers, etc. It is 12 km away and can be reached by bike via a quiet road. One of the most beautiful villages in France, Vézelay, with its famous basilica, is half an hour away by car. A must-see in the area, along with Vauban's castle in Bazoches. In the villages, where time seems to stand still, flea markets or concerts are organized from spring onwards. Always very pleasant.
