Our nature house is located in the beautiful countryside of Winterswijk Ratum to the Masterveld, another unique piece of the Netherlands. Our guesthouse is part of our farm from 1922. Located on a quiet road with wide views over meadows and woods. Where at night only the moon and the stars illuminate the Masterveld. A hundred years ago came here the first residents and we experience it as a favor to live here. The guesthouse (90m2) has its own entrance with terrace from which you can spot wildlife, roe deer, hare. Hall with toilet, living room with a cozy sitting area with wood stove and fully equipped kitchen. Stairs with railings to the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms. 2 additional rooms for suitcases and clothes. From the guesthouse you can directly cycling and / or walking through the beautiful scenic landscape with winding roads. A visit to Winterswijk with its many stores and cozy terraces, cinema and theater is also very worthwhile. Really highly recommended! Very nice neat and clean house with very friendly owners. There is plenty to do. From walking and cycling in nature, eating eggs from the chickens at breakfast (the chickens were a great success with our son), visiting Winterswijk, crossing the border to Germany, pedal boats. As bird lovers we really enjoyed ourselves (of course the eagle owl and flamingos but also orioles, bluethroat, redstarts, cuckoo and many other beautiful things). We will definitely come back again!
Echt een aanrader! Heel fijn netjes en schoon huis met hele vriendelijke eigenaren. Er valt van alles te beleven. Van wandelen en fietsen in de natuur, eieren van de kippen eten bij het ontbijt (de kippen waren een groot succes bij onze zoon), Winterswijk bezoeken, de grens over naar Duitsland, waterfietsen. Als vogelliefhebbers hebben we echt genoten (natuurlijk van de oehoe en flamingo’s maar ook van wielewalen, blauwborst, roodstaarten, koekoek en nog veel meer moois). We komen zeker nog eens terug!
