Nature house in Großbrüchter

Our little nature house is small and cozy. You enter through a small entryway with a coat rack; the kitchen, which seats four people, is located to the left. It is fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster, and everything else you might need. From the kitchen, a narrow staircase leads to the first bedroom with two single beds. To the right of the hallway is the living room with a couch, a bench, a TV, and a cozy wood-burning stove. From here, you can access the newly renovated bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and vintage-style sink. From the hallway, a space-saving staircase leads to the second bedroom, which features a wardrobe, a sofa, and a double bed. Outside, a terrace—screened from view by a hedge—invites you to relax. From here, you’ll enjoy a great view of the surrounding area. A charcoal grill, patio furniture, and a separate refrigerator are available for a relaxing evening of grilling in the garden.

The vacation home is located on the outskirts of town, near a riding arena. The village is in a quiet setting, and a small village store offers everything you need for daily necessities. There is also a children’s playground. From the house, you have direct access to the great outdoors. Hiking trails lead to the nearby Helbetal valley and the surrounding area. Also easily accessible are the Unstrut-Hainich National Park with its treetop trail, the Possen amusement park, and the Strausberg Monkey Park, as well as the Kyffhäuser Monument, numerous thermal baths, and many towns with historic centers. By car, you can reach the Harz Mountains and the Thuringian Forest in just over an hour. Wartburg Castle and the state capital, Erfurt, are also nearby. In short, this little cottage can serve as the perfect starting point for many great activities.
