Nature house in Hattem op de Veluwe

We think the cottage is personally decorated, and we really like that. Everything you need—or haven’t even thought of—is there. Linens, towels, washcloths, shower gel, shampoo, and body wash, toilet paper,
panty liners (I’ve never seen that before—very thoughtful), books, tea, coffee beans, sugar, spices, paper towels, candles, plenty of pots and pans, silverware, and dishes, nice wine glasses, a wine cooler, everything you need in the kitchen, and more. And finally, this is a cottage with a comfortable couch!

Wij vinden het huisje persoonlijk ingericht en wij vinden dat fijn. Alles wat je nodig hebt of niet aan hebt gedacht is er. Linnen, handdoeken, washandjes, douche/shampoo/body verzorgingsproducten, toiletpapier,
Inlegkruisjes (nog nooit mee gemaakt heel attent), boeken, thee, koffiebonen, suiker, kruiden, keukenpapier, kaarsen, genoeg pannen, bestek en servies, fijne wijnglazen, wijnkoelkast, alles wat je in de keuken nodig hebt enz. En eindelijk is dit een huisje met een fijne bank!

The cottage had a terrace that was wonderfully peaceful among the trees. It was as if you were sitting in a forest. Far off in the distance, among the trees, you could see the distant neighbors. During our stay, we saw many woodpeckers, nuthatches, and robins up close. We also heard the call of an eagle owl for the first time in the evening. There was plenty of space around the cottage, including an area set aside for children. And we felt the distance between our cottage and the owners’ house was just right. From the yard, you could be in the woods within 5 minutes. There was plenty of nature right by the cottage, but also just beyond the gate. In the evening and at night, you could hear nothing but acorns falling on the cottage’s roof. But the owner had already noticed that, and it is autumn, of course.

Het huisje had een terras dat heerlijk rustig tussen de bomen was. Het was of je in een bos zat. Heel in de verte tussen de bomen zag je de verre buren. Er waren tijdens ons verblijf veel spechten, boomklevers en roodborstjes die je van dichtbij zag. We hebben ook voor het eerst het geluid s'avonds van een oehoe (uil gehoord) Rondom het huisje was genoeg ruimte, ook een deel was voor kinderen. En wij vonden de afstand tussen ons huisje en het woonhuis van de eigenaren ver genoeg van elkaar. Vanaf het erf stond je binnen 5 minuten in het/een bos. Sowieso was er veel natuur bij je huisje maar ook als je de poort uitliep. S'avobds/s'nachts hoorde je niets anders dan het vallen van eikels op het dak van het huisje. Maar dat had de eigenaar al opgemerkt en het is herfst natuurlijk.

A lovely little house, and especially with all the outdoor space. With six women, the bathroom and bedrooms might be a bit cramped, but the surroundings more than make up for it. Plus, Carl is a very thoughtful, friendly, and attentive host who makes sure you have nothing to complain about.

Heerlijk huisje en vooral de vele buitenruimte. Met 6 vrouwen is de badkamer en slaapkamers misschien een beetje krap, maar de omgeving maakt alles goed. Daarbij Carl is een heel attente, gezellige en geïnteresseerde host die zorgt dat je nergens ontevreden over kunt zijn.

I was able to relax and unwind very well. The surroundings are truly impressive and offer plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor adventures. The hosts made me feel very welcome.

Ich konnte mich sehr gut erholen und abschalten. Die Umgebung ist sehr beeindruckend und bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Spaziergänge und Erlebnisse in der Natur. Ich habe mich von den Gastgebern herzlich willkommen gefühlt.

It was a wonderful getaway, and I really enjoyed my time there. Everything I needed was provided. And the hosts went out of their way to make my stay a great experience.

Es war eine wunderbare Auszeit und ich habe die Zeit sehr genossen. Alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Und die Gastgeber haben sich sehr aufmerksam bemüht den Aufenthalt zu einem tollen Erlebnis zu machen.
