Welcome to our forest house located near the medieval Hanseatic cities of Hattem (3km), Zwolle (9km) and Elburg (19km). The very spacious vacation house is 80m2 and located in our yard of 6000m2 bordering the Veluwe. Nature comes very close here, with squirrels (tripping over the roof), many species of butterflies and birds and you might hear a tawny owl at night. Around the house are 3 terraces with privacy to linger with a cozy firepit and hammocks among the trees.The forest house (max. 5 adults & 2 children) is built from recycled materials. The doors, kitchen, bathroom, etc. come from our demolished house further down the lot. The interior is very sustainable, but also luxuriously furnished with nice box spring beds, bean espresso machine and a stocked wine cabinet Especially for children there are high chairs, an inground trampoline and swing available. And what child does not want to dream in a tree house bunk bed (180cm long) or converted (never used) horse box?

Walk out of our lane and you are on the Veluwe! The forest house is located 100m from the woods and heaths of the Veluwe. From here you can endlessly and freely walk and cycle (with many beautiful bike routes) through the beautiful nature with woodpeckers, wild boar, deer and red deer. Because of its location on the river IJssel with its beaches and floodplains and on the edge of the Veluwe, Hattem is a very attractive town. And there is much to do and experience. Large fenced garden and the forest within walking distance.
Wij hebben een heel fijne midweek achter de rug. Alles aanwezig voor volwassenen, kinderen (trampoline was favoriet) en hond (heel veel stokken, water/voerbak en zelfs een kussen). Prettig contact met de eigenaren. Prachtig gelegen. Grote omheinde tuin en het bos op loopafstand.

Had a wonderful midweek together with our dogs.
Heerlijk midweekje gehad samen met onze honden.
Fantastic location. Close to lovely walking area so our two dogs had a great time. Fine privacy despite having your abode in the back of the garden. And lots of birds around you. Lovely. The cottage is very comfortable and the kitchen richly equipped with delicious coffee and if you feel like a glass of wine then that is also provided. Host and hostess are very warm and friendly. They make sure you lack nothing. The bathroom is fine to use but a bit dated. We were with 2 people and 2 dogs but also great for family. In short we enjoyed!
Fantastisch gelegen. Vlakbij heerlijk wandelgebied zodat onze twee honden zich heerlijk konden uitleven. Prima privacy ondanks dat je achter in de tuin je verblijf hebt. En veel vogels om je heen. Heerlijk. Het huisje is zeer comfortabel en de keuken rijk uitgerust met lekkere koffie en als je zin hebt in een wijntje dan is daar ook in voorzien. Gastheer en gastvrouw zijn heel hartelijk en vriendelijk. Ze zorgen dat je aan niks ontbreekt. De badkamer is prima te gebruiken maar een beetje gedateerd. Wij waren met z’n 2-en en 2 honden maar ook prima geschikt voor gezin. Kortom wij hebben genoten!
