Our B&B is located in a characterful old hunting lodge, quietly situated in a cul-de-sac in the middle of meadows and woods. Here you will experience what true silence means. The garden of 1.2 hectares consists of meadows, woods, a vegetable garden and a fruit orchard. The ideal place to immerse yourself in a good book or simply enjoy the surrounding landscape. With a bit of luck you might even spot a roe deer or fox, which pass by here regularly. Garden furniture is available throughout the garden, so you can choose a nice spot in the shade of the large lime trees, oaks and ash trees. Le Tilleul is a spacious room for 1 or 2 persons on the ground floor, overlooking the garden. The room has its own shower, sink and toilet. A comfortable box spring ensures a wonderful night's sleep. Table d'hôtes is also possible by appointment. We like to spoil our guests with a tasty meal, a good glass of wine and inspiring surroundings - always with a warm welcome.
Nature and surroundings
At a stone's throw from our B&B begins the Parc naturel régional du Morvan, a beautiful natural area full of forests and unspoiled nature. Here you will also find the impressive site of Bibracte, the last Gallic resistance to Rome. In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy hiking through forests and fields, swimming in nearby lakes or biking along the Canal du Nivernais. There you can even explore the underground vaults by electric boat - an ideal trip on hot summer days. Corbigny is the nearest town and offers all the necessary amenities. It is 12 kilometers away and is also easily accessible by bike via a quiet road. About a half-hour drive away is Vézelay, one of the most beautiful villages in France, known for its impressive basilica. Together with Vauban's Castle of Bazoches, this is definitely worth a visit. From spring onwards, the region bustles with lively flea markets in the authentic villages where time seems to stand still.
