Located in the hills, about 8 km outside the medieval town of Castiglion Fiorentino, we are happy to welcome guests to our studio. The last kilometer is along a well-maintained dirt road, after which you’ll arrive in the small village of Gambaroncia. The studio is secluded (accessible via a steeply sloping path) and offers plenty of privacy; it is cozily furnished with a double bed (two single beds are also available), a toilet, sink, and shower, a sitting area, and a TV with Dutch channels. Outside, there’s a jacuzzi for our guests’ private use. The kitchen is outdoors, right next to the studio, and covered. In the spring or fall, it can be closed off while still preserving the view. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a high-quality gas barbecue, so you’ll be self-sufficient. This way, you’ll spend almost all your time outdoors, enjoying a truly phenomenal view of the Valle di Chio valley. We speak Dutch, English, German, and Italian.
Nature and surroundings
The studio is located in the heart of nature with an unobstructed view of the valley, surrounded by forests. We regularly see deer and wild boars on the property, and it’s teeming with birds. The nearest town, Castiglion Fiorentino—where you’ll find everything you need—is 8 km from the studio. Our guests will therefore need their own transportation. Castiglion Fiorentino is close to Cortona and Arezzo and has a train station. There’s so much to discover, see, taste, and do in the area. Whether you’re coming for the culture, the scenery, Italian cuisine, or to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking or biking… or if you want to experience a little bit of everything… then Casetta dell’Angelo is the perfect place for you. Those who have stayed here in recent years have thoroughly enjoyed both their stay and the surrounding area. It’s worth noting that dogs are welcome, but we always ask that you check with us first regarding a few conditions we have in place.

• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refunded
• on the day of arrival or later: no refund

- No parties or events are allowed.
- This nature house is not suitable for groups of young people, students and sports teams.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
