Nature house in Emst

The cottage is wonderful—it’s fully equipped and decorated in a very cozy style. It’s spacious; the living room is cozy with an open kitchen, and the bedrooms are spacious and also decorated in a very cozy style. The reason it doesn’t get a 10 is that it’s a dark cottage. That makes sense, since it’s located in the woods. But we would have preferred some extra lighting, especially by the couch.

Het huisje is geweldig, heel compleet én heel gezellig ingericht. Het is ruim, de living is gezellig met een open keuken en de slaapkamers zijn royaal en ook heel gezellig ingericht. De reden waarom het geen 10 is, is dat het een donker huisje is. Logisch, want het ligt in het bos. Maar extra verlichting zou wel onze voorkeur hebben, met name bij de bank.

A lovely little cottage, fully furnished and located on the edge of the forest park; there is indeed a campground on the edge of the wooded area where this cottage is located, but we weren’t bothered by it in any way. We had a squirrel visit the garden almost every day, and there were various birds.

Een heerlijk huisje, heel compleet ingericht en aan de rand van het bospark; inderdaad is er een camping aan de rand van het stuk bos waar dit huisje ligt, maar wij hebben daar op geen enkele manier (over)last van gehad. We hebben bijna dagelijks een eekhoorn op bezoek gehad in de tuin en er waren diverse vogels.

I do miss having a TV and better lighting, though.
The internet connection usually cuts out in the evening when the campground is busy.

Beautiful little house
Cozy interior, though the living room is a bit dark.
The bedrooms are very nice with comfortable beds. The bathroom has a wonderful shower.
The porch is very nice; it has chairs and a spacious picnic table.
Plenty of space for almost 3 cars; no charging station for your car.
Small shed with a charging station for your e-bike.
The campground is right next door, but it doesn’t really bother you—it’s actually just convenient for picking up delicious pastries there in the morning.

Prachtig huisje
Gezellige inrichting, woonkamer wel wat donker.
Slaapkamers zijn erg fijn met prima bedden. Badkamer met een heerlijke douche.
Veranda is erg fijn , er staan stoelen en een ruime picknick tafel.
Ruime plek voor haast 3 auto's geen mogelijkheid om je auto op te laden.
Schuurtje met laad punt voor je ebike .
Camping staat er Pal naast maar daar heb je geen last van eigenlijk alleen maar gemak om in de ochtend daar heerlijke broodjes te halen.

It's wonderful, but it's worth noting that during peak season, there's a good chance you'll be bothered by the huge family campground next door! Outside of school vacations, it's sure to be a lot quieter! But it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're really looking for some peace and quiet.

Heerlijk, alléén in hoogseizoen moet er wel genoemd worden dat de kans groot is dat je hinder kan ondervinden van de gigantische familiecamping ernaast! Buiten schoolvakanties om zal het vast een stuk rustiger zijn! maar absoluut iets om rekening mee te houden als je echt de rust wil opzoeken.

A beautiful, spacious, and well-kept cottage with all the amenities, a lovely porch to sit on, and a wonderfully spacious garden with lots of birds, squirrels, and weasels; the surroundings are beautiful, offering endless opportunities for walking and biking. The owners are very friendly and approachable.

Een schitterend ruim en net huisje met alles erop en eraan, prachtige veranda om onder te zitten en heerlijk ruime tuin met veel vogeltjes, eekhoorntjes, wezeltjes, prachtige omgeving waar je eindeloos kan wandelen en fietsen. de eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en toegankelijk.
