Your accommodation is located in a very quiet location, surrounded by nature, outside the town in the polders of Koewacht, without the noise of crowds or traffic. By foot you are within 5 minutes in a forest and wetland environment from where you can continue walking to eg the Spanish State Lines and other hiking trails in the area. To explore the surroundings by bike, our environment, located on the border with Belgium, is also particularly suitable. 2/3 bikes can be provided free of charge upon request. There are also nearby opportunities to rent electric bikes and scooters. By car: Hulst 13 minutes; Ghent, Antwerp 30/40 minutes; Bruges 45 minutes; Walking along the Scheldt 15 minutes. Our guest house is equipped with all comforts and good new beds. From the living room you have a beautiful view and you will enjoy the nature.The silence at night will amaze you.If you have special needs, please let us know.
Nature and surroundings
Of course a little depending on the season, you can see deer almost daily, from the living room. In our area, in addition to many pheasants, hares, rabbits and partridges, you will see many birds of prey and numerous smaller birds. You will often hear the call of the cuckoo in the spring. At night, the call of the owl is often heard.
