Our cottage is located in the green and quiet Terhofstede, a picturesque hamlet of historic Retranchement. We are barely 4 km from the beautiful beaches of cadzand-bad and less than one kilometer from the beautiful nature reserve Het Zwin. From sunrise to sunset you can enjoy the full sun in our south-facing garden, but equally relax under our large walnut tree. With our orchard and pond behind, you can enjoy a green oasis of 8000 m2 and a breathtaking view of the polders behind. Our house is spacious and bright and can accommodate 7 people. The fully equipped kitchen and the living room overlook the flowery garden.In winter you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, in summer you can have breakfast on the sunny terrace.The rooms are spacious and very quiet. It is simply an oasis of greenery and tranquility within walking distance from the sea.
Nature and surroundings
Besides a visit to the famous nature reserve "het Zwin" you can also make fantastic nature walks, or cycling trips to nearby villages or a little further to the beautiful Damme, Sluis or Knokke. You can visit the nearby, beautiful sandy beaches of cadzand-Bad, or visit cozy Zeeland villages, but just as well just at home enjoying the peace in our large garden. And do not forget the ramparts of Retranchement.
