In our nature house, built in 2023, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the northern Fryske Walden. These Fryske Walden are known for their beautiful tree walls, lakes, beautiful cycling routes and wonderful hiking trails. These start in front of the door of the nature house. When you are in the cottage, you are halfway to another destination. After parking the car next to the cottage, you enter directly into the common room. Here you will find a kitchen equipped with stove, dishwasher, oven and a fridge-freezer. There is a complete inventory. The toilet and shower room are separate. The downstairs apartment is completely heated/cooled by an air-conditioning system. The cottage has free Wifi and a flat screen, but from the sitting room you also have beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Through the stairs are 2 bedrooms with double beds. You can also use a Jacuzzi and cold outdoor shower.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is our pride and joy, carefully built and ready to be welcomed by future guests. The beautiful views, in the middle of nature, with neighbors' animals like sheep and cows all around. The cottage is located on Zomerweg in Burgum between Burgum and Hurdegaryp. Within walking and cycling distance of both villages where you have all amenities within easy reach. Nice restaurants can be found in Burgum as well as all kinds of stores. Also in the vicinity there is a clog museum, sauna (Leeuwerikhoeve), Andringa's Waldpleats (here you can buy homemade dairy and local products and reach within 1 minute), public transport, canoeing in the Butefjild, golf course the Green Star, observatory and a day trip to Ameland and Schiermonnikoog is also fine to do. The larger places such as Leeuwarden, Dokkum and Drachten are all approximately 15-20 minutes by car but are also easily accessible by bicycle. Here are several museums, casino, nice restaurants and beautiful stores.
