Rohel is a charming small village in Friesland, located northeast of the Tjeukemeer, in the middle of the beautiful Frisian lake district. This natural environment is ideal for cycling and hiking enthusiasts, but water sports enthusiasts can also enjoy their favorite activities here. The village has its own small beach, located near 'Camping Tjeukemeer', where you can enjoy the water in peace and quiet. From Rohel you can also easily reach the bustling tourist center of Lemmer, one of Friesland's most famous water sports resorts. Here you will find atmospheric old buildings, a lively harbor and the famous Lemmer Beach. You can also enjoy lunch or dinner in one of the many restaurants, or enjoy the cozy terraces on the waterfront.
