Nature house in Aubenton

Nice house, neat (if you don't look at the dust nets at the top of some doors). Too bad the garden is not clean (messy, lots of weeds) and the fence is not complete/sturdier. An upstairs sink would be handy as all the bathrooms are downstairs. The contents themselves are fine: everything is available (except a spaghetti tong).

Mooi huis, netjes (als je niet naar de stofnetten bovenaan sommige deuren kijkt). Jammer dat de tuin niet proper is (rommelig, veel onkruid) en dat de omheining niet volledig/steviger is. Een lavabo boven zou handig zijn, want alle badkamers zijn beneden. De inboedel zelf is prima: alles is voorhanden (behalve een spaghettitang).

Enjoyed a weekend getaway. The area is not fantastic que views, but it is very peaceful. If we have to be in the area, we would love to come back. Artisan bakery (highly recommended: they bake there all day) 10 minutes walk away.

Genoten van een weekendje weg. De streek is niet fantastisch que uitzicht, maar het is er erg rustig. Indien we in de buurt moeten zijn, komen we er graag terug. Artisanale bakker (echt een aanrader: ze bakken er heel de dag door) op 10 minuutjes wandelen.

Super clean. Fully equipped. Super much to do in the area. Just too bad you need your car for everything.

Super proper. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Een echte aanrader.
Super veel te doen in de omgeving. Alleen jammer dat je voor alles uw auto nodig hebt.

Super quiet location. Outside you can hear a train passing but absolutely not disturbing. Inside you hear nothing at all of the train.

Super rustig gelegen. Buiten hoor je wel een trein passeren maar absoluut niet storend. Binnen hoor je helemaal niets van de trein.

Our stay at Le Coin Perdu was delightful. What a beautiful house, clearly refurbished with care and attention by the owners, and what a lovely and peaceful environment. We will definitely come back again.

Ons verblijf in Le Coin Perdu was heerlijk. Wat een mooi huis, duidelijk met zorg en aandacht opgeknapt door de eigenaren, en wat een heerlijke en rustige omgeving. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

The surroundings of the cottage are beautiful. If you walk one way you are in the typical northern French countryside. Walk in the other direction and you are in the picturesque village of Aubenton where you will find a good bakery, a café and an aviator museum.

De omgeving van het huisje is prachtig. Loop je de ene kant op dan wandel je het typische Noord Franse boerenlandschap in. Loop je de andere kant op dan sta je zo in het pittoreske dorpje Aubenton waar een goede bakker, een cafétje en een vliegeniersmuseum te vinden zijn.
