In our sheepfold you can stay overnight with 1 adult and 1 child. The space is insulated and is cozy. The toilet (flush with rainwater) and shower are within walking distance of the sheepfold. There is also a kitchen there (with fridge and washing machine) that you can use, so is a fire pit. You share this space with another tenant. The shower works using a water bag, which you heat in the sun or fill with hot water. The kitchen has no water heater, you create hot water by heating it in a pan or you can prepare food over the fire. You can also use the cooking service, then we cook something more and that is for you / you. In the yard is a wood-fired hot tub. This is suitable for 2 people and costs 25e per x for 2 baths. We do not fire up the hot tub after 8pm.We offer parking, bike rental and public transportation, the bus, stops at our door.Wifi can be turned on or off.
Nature and surroundings
The sheepfold offers a lot of privacy, even though it is in our yard. We live on a provincial road, against a large forest area: the forest of Kootwijk and the heath of Stroe. Here you can walk and cycle for miles. Some places of interest in the area are: the forest lake Loofles, radio Kootwijk, the sand drifts of Kootwijk, Palace Het Loo, Nairac museum Barneveld, Kroller Muller Museum & Hoge Veluwe park. This area also offers plenty of attractive restaurants, e.g. De Wever Lodge in Otterlo.
