Nature house in Lich

The cottage is very lovingly and sustainably designed. There’s plenty of space for two people, especially when the weather is nice and you can enjoy the patio. It’s tastefully and comfortably furnished, and we had everything we needed. Here and there, you can tell it wasn’t built yesterday (a few slats on the terrace, for example, could use some new screws), but overall it’s well-maintained and clean. We really appreciated the communication with our host, especially when things didn’t go 100% smoothly. Steffen was very easy to reach, friendly, and always had practical solutions ready. We felt very comfortable there.

Das Häuschen ist sehr liebevoll und nachhaltig gestaltet. Für zwei Personen ist insbesondere bei gutem Wetter mit der Terasse viel Platz. Es ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Hier und da merkt man, dass es nicht erst gestern gebaut wurde (ein paar Latten auf der Terasse müssten z.B. neu verschraubt werden), aber insgesamt ist es gepflegt und sauber. Sehr gut hat uns die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber gefallen, insbesondere, wenn etwas nicht 100%ig geklappt hat. Steffen war sehr gut erreichbar, freundlich und hatte pragmatische Lösungen am Start. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

The cottage is located on the landlord’s property in a weekend community, so it’s not completely secluded. However, we had it all to ourselves, which meant we had plenty of peace and quiet. We hardly noticed the neighbors at all, and aside from farm traffic, it was generally quiet.
We were there on our gravel bikes, and the surroundings were perfect for our idea of a vacation. Lakes, shopping options—including farm stands—everything was easily accessible by bike, and we really enjoyed the seemingly endless cycling opportunities through nature.

Das Häuschen liegt auf dem Grundstück des Vermieters in einer Wochenendsiedlung, so dass es nicht völlig abgeschieden ist. Wir hatten es aber für uns allein und dadurch auch viel Ruhe. Von den Nachbar*innen haben wir quasi nichts mitbekommen und abgesehen von landwirtschaftlichen Verkehr war es insgesamt ruhig.
Wir waren mit den Gravelbikes dort und für unsere Idee von Urlaub war die Umgebung perfekt. Seen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten inkl. Hofläden - alles war toll mit dem Rad erreichbar und die schier unendlichen Fahradfahrmöglichkeiten durch die Natur haben uns sehr gefreut.

We had a very pleasant week in the cottage. Everything is clean and tidy.

Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme Woche in dem Häuschen. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich.

The house is superbly equipped and very thoughtfully and lovingly designed. The property has a lot to offer and is also very well maintained.

Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und sehr durchdacht und liebevoll gestaltet. Das Grundstück hat einiges zu bieten und ist auch sehr gepflegt.

We were able to switch off wonderfully. It is in a very quiet location and offers a beautiful view. However, you are not directly in the field, but on a property in the immediate vicinity of the owner's house and other properties. We were lucky enough to be completely alone.

Wir konnten wunderbar abschalten. Es ist sehr ruhig gelegen und bietet einen schönen Blick. Allerdings ist man nicht unmittelbar im Feld, sondern auf einem Grundstück in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zu dem Haus des Eigentümers und anderen Grundstücken. Wir hatten das Glück ganz alleine zu sein.
