The approximately 51 m² vacation home is located right next to the forest. It features a bedroom, a children’s bedroom, a bathroom with a floor-level shower, and an open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area. The bedroom has a double bed and a large, double-door solid-wood closet. Children’s room with a child-friendly loft bed (approx. 70 cm x 200 cm) and a shelf. Hallway with a grill/microwave, coat rack, closet, and refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment. Bathroom with underfloor heating, sink, corner shower, and toilet. Solid wood kitchen with sink, 2-burner gas stove, small appliances such as a toaster and coffee maker, as well as all kinds of pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. Living room with a water-heating wood-burning stove and a sleeper sofa. The flat-screen TV (102 cm) offers satellite TV and music via the 4.1 surround sound system. Outdoor area: In the large garden: 2 permanent granite tables with a parasol, benches, chairs, a fire pit, seating under the roof in case of rain, and a beautiful view of the mountains. The highlight is a wood-fired outdoor sauna with a spring-fed plunge pool.

In the surrounding area, you’ll find shopping options, a water park 1.5 km away, and various restaurants (3 to 5 km away). The Lauscha large ski jump with a virtual ski jump simulation is worth a visit (3 km). Otherwise, there are numerous sports activities available, such as mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing (Steinach High Ropes Course), winter sports, a ski resort, an ice rink, a swimming pool, an indoor pool, tennis, horseback riding, a disco, Nordic walking, cycling, mountain biking, downhill skiing, and cross-country skiing. Numerous glass workshops and museums in Lauscha and the surrounding area. Toy makers and museums in Sonneberg, porcelain manufacturing in Sitzendorf, the Heinrich Geißler Museum and the local history museum in Neuhaus, as well as the oldest wooden church there. You can visit the Morassina Grotto in Schmiedefeld and the Fröbel Tower with the world’s steepest funicular in Oberweißbach. A summer toboggan run with a ski lift awaits you in Ernstthal.
