Nature, peace & environment:The cottage was very nice and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the sauna and the fireplace. The surroundings were also beautiful, but unfortunately for us at the time a lot of trees were cut down so the mountains looked a bit bare here and there. Of course not something you can do something about as a homeowner, but was still a shame for the view and did a bit off the idea of being in the middle of the forest. Also nice was the train that regularly came through the valley. The village of Lauscha was very nice for shopping and even in the middle of summer it is nice to be immersed in the Christmas atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Het huisje was heel fijn en leuk ingericht. We hebben genoten van de sauna en het haardvuur. De omgeving was ook mooi, maar helaas voor ons waren er op het moment veel bomen gekapt waardoor de bergen er hier en daar wat kaal uitzagen. Natuurlijk niet iets waar je als huiseigenaar iets aan kunt doen, maar was toch jammer van het uitzicht en deed een beetje af aan het idee van midden in het bos zitten.
Ook leuk was het treintje dat met regelmaat door het dal kwam. Die konden we vanaf het bankje bij het huisje goed zien.
