Set among seven acres of protected forest and with spectacular panoramic views of the Penedès mountains, this Nature House offers the old-world charm of a 17th-century rustic home with the luxury of all modern conveniences. Our fully self-catering four-bedroom guesthouse is designed with sustainability and your comfort in mind. We treat all our guests as VIPs. Your vacation experience is as important to us as it is to you. Revive mind, body & soul by the natural pool, take a walk through the vineyards, enjoy a picnic with fresh ingredients from the vegetable garden or treat yourself to a meal prepared by your host with seasonal local produce. Guests can enjoy a home-cooked meal, have a gourmet picnic prepared or take a cooking class with your host and culinary writer Sophie Ruggles. All ingredients come fresh from our kitchen garden or from local suppliers and small farmers involved in the Okm food movement.
Nature and surroundings
This Nature House is surrounded by protected forest and organic vineyards. The mountainous landscape offers ever-changing views of breathtaking beauty and natural serenity. Our three dogs Rufus, Paco & Lady love to show guests around and take them on their favorite forest walks. Just a 20-minute walk from the mountain overlooking the estate at 900 meters above sea level stands La Hermita de Sant Joan, a stone structure from the 11th century that was hand-built by the Romans. At the top of your trek, breathtaking views of the Penedès region and the peaks of the Pyrenees await. On a clear day, these views reach as far as the Mediterranean Sea, some 40 km away. The Penedès region is still largely undiscovered and is popularly called the Tuscany of Spain. Once you get here, you'll understand why. Vineyards as far as the eye can see are draped over the rolling landscape like colorful patchworks. Beautiful historic towns are scattered throughout the region.
