It is nice that the house is high and well equipped with the dining table, sofa and kitchen. The bedrooms and bathroom are fine. The cottage warms up well. The sliding doors allowed us to enjoy the winter sunshine at the outdoor table. The wood-fired sauna is sheltered behind the cottage. Because the wood was not very dry, lighting the sauna took quite a bit of effort. In the end, the sauna got over 60 degrees; not very hot, but nice. The starry sky outside made the experience magical. Less practical about the cottage we found the swinging doors towards the hallway, the fact that the doormats were outside (and thus soaking wet) and the limited mood lighting in the cottage itself. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the cottage.

Via de schuifdeuren konden we aan de buitentafel genieten van het winterzonnetje. De houtgestookte sauna ligt beschut achter het huisje. Omdat het hout niet heel erg droog was, kostte het aanmaken van de sauna best veel moeite. Uiteindelijk werd de sauna ruim 60 graden; niet heel warm, maar wel lekker. De sterrenhemel buiten maakte de ervaring magisch. Minder praktisch aan het huisje vonden we de klapdeuren richting de gang, het feit dat de deurmatten buiten lagen (en dus drijfnat waren) en de beperkte sfeerverlichting in het huisje zelf. Niettemin hebben we genoten van het huisje.
