This vacation home combines a beautiful location in a "cadre de verdure", with a tasteful and modern interior. The house is detached on the edge of a forest with views over the hills. On both sides of the house you will find a generous terrace, allowing you to choose the sun or a place in the shade at any time of day. The ideal place to enjoy nature and leave all your worries behind. On the first floor is the spacious living-dining room with new and fully equipped kitchen. If it gets a little chilly in the evening, just light the wood stove. The wood for the wood stove is included in the price. On the ground floor is the bedroom with a wonderful, new Emma mattress on a generous 210 x 160 bed. On the ground floor is also a separate toilet and a luxurious bathroom with a wonderful walk-in shower. Garden furniture is at your disposal.
Nature and surroundings
The Livradois-Forez is a protected nature reserve. The landscape is hilly (up to 1000m altitude) with picturesque villages interspersed with long arable land and small mixed farms. This area has not yet been discovered by mass tourism. You can wander for hours in the woods and fields without meeting anyone. The region is ideal for taking wonderful walks or bike rides. There are several places where you can swim, fish or canoe in the river Allier. Swimming in natural water is possible in one of the small lakes nearby. To visit the supermarket, go to Brioude. You will also find cultural activities to your liking. Interesting, somewhat larger places to visit are Clermont-Ferrand and Le Puy-en-Velay. There are many festivals, concerts, exhibitions of a surprisingly high quality. Fans of flea markets can also indulge themselves here.
