Nature house in Pingjum

We didn't think it was really a nature house. Nothing for example about separating the garbage.The cottage did not meet our expectations. Very sweet was the Christmas decorations they had done. However, the pictures are more beautiful than in reality. That always remains a guess. But what bothered us most was the smell in the house from the slurry pit. Matthijs apologizes in advance in his last message before arrival for this and says that it is being worked on. So then you can't do anything with that as a guest. Then as a landlord you better not rent it out. As a matter of fact, it was really a sickening smell. Toilet fresheners that were there did not make it better. Furthermore, the house is poorly insulated and we had the misfortune that just these days it was cold and it was not really warm. Annoying with a little one of 5 months. We find it annoying that we cannot give a positive review, as this is the first time through nature house that it is not a good experience.

We vonden het niet echt een natuurhuisje. Niks bijvoorbeeld over scheiden van het afval.
Het huisje voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen. Heel lief was de kerstversiering die ze gedaan hadden. De foto’s zijn echter mooier dan in werkelijkheid. Dat blijft altijd een gok. Maar wat het meeste stoorde was de stankoverlast in het huis doorvde gierput. Matthijs verontschuldigt zich bij voorbaat in zijn laatste bericht voor aankomst hiervoor en zegt dat er aan gewerkt wordt. Dus dan kun je daar als gast niets mee. Dan kun je het als verhuurder beter niet verhuren. Het was namelijk echt eenmisselijk makende geur. Toiletverfrissers die er stonden maakten het er niet beter op.
Verder is het huis slecht geïsoleerd en hadden we de pech dat het net deze dagen koud was en het niet echt warm werd. Vervelend met een kleintje van 5 maanden.
We vinden het vervelend dat we geen positieve review kunnen geven, dit is namelijk de eerste keer via natuurhuisje dat het geen goede ervaring is.

Well furnished. Played old-fashioned games.

Goed ingericht. Ouderwets spelletjes gedaan.

A very spacious downstairs. The cottage in inside very nice with lots of wood cladding. The cottage is very rural and quiet. We were with a group on the bike from North Holland and that is fine to do (especially with the bicycle bus on the afsluitdijk).

Een zeer ruime beneden verdieping. Het huisje in van binnen heel mooi met veel hout bekleed. Het huisje ligt heel landelijk en dat is heerlijk rustig. Wij waren met een groep op de fiets vanaf Noord-Holland en dat is prima te doen ( zeker met de fietsbus over de afsluitdijk).

Spacious, bright and pleasant house. Very suitable to stay with a young child. The garden is on the small side, but certainly sufficient!

Ruim, licht en aangenaam huis. Zeer geschikt om te verblijven met een jong kind. De tuin is aan de kleine kant, maar zeker voldoende!

The cottage is a good distance from numerous activities, by bike or by car.

Het huisje ligt op een goeie afstand van tal van activiteiten, met de fiets of met de auto.
