Our cozy vacation home is located right on the edge of the forest on a hill and offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Allgäu Mountains and the Alps. The fenced-in property is entirely private—ideal for families, groups, and guests with dogs. The house accommodates 7 to 9 people and features three bedrooms with a total of seven beds. Additionally, two extra beds can be set up if needed; the sofa bed can also be used as an additional sleeping option.
Nature and surroundings
Since the house is located right on the edge of the forest in a rural setting, a little bit of “nature included” is part of the experience. During the summer months, you can occasionally hear cowbells ringing. Insects and small animals such as spiders, flies, or beetles are also part of the natural environment and may—especially during the warmer months—occasionally find their way into the house. In a location so close to nature, it’s not always possible to keep them out completely. The sauna in the cozy gazebo ensures relaxing moments. From the photos, we got the impression that one of the bedrooms was on the ground floor. That would have been better for us with our
9-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog.
Otherwise, the kitchen is very well equipped; only the lower part of the garden is quite overgrown.
A larger sunshade on the terrace (awning or sun sail) would be helpful, as it gets extremely hot at 35 degrees
in direct sunlight. When our existing umbrella broke, Ms. Schwarz immediately arranged for a replacement. The view is outstanding.Auf den Bildern hatten wir den Eindruck, dass ein Schlafzimmer ebenerdig ist. Das wäre für uns mit unserem
