"Les Chaumes de Léonie" is a new chalet (completed in March 2016) with a capacity of 8 people. We welcome you in 4 comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (3 in total). At the entrance to the chalet, the Spa is located on the garden level terrace and can be used all year round. Once through the rough larch wood entrance door, you have access to a suite with bathroom and walk-in shower. On the first floor, you'll find a second suite and bathroom with corner bath, with direct access to the large terrace overlooking the valley. The fitted kitchen with its island opens onto the dining room table. The cosy, contemporary-inspired living room nestles between the fireplace and the main south-facing terrace. Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms and their bathroom under the roof.
Nature and surroundings
The chalet is located on a mountainside with a magnificent, unobstructed view over the Munster valley in Alsace. You're on the edge of the forest and have no direct neighbours. The chalet is self-contained, and you'll be in communion with the surrounding nature without being totally isolated. Small shops (bakery and grocery store) are in the village, 5 minutes away by car. The Munster valley is a paradise for nature lovers and hikers, and every season brings its own charm. You'll find activities for young and old alike (sport, culture, gastronomy...).

Anke General rating:The house is conveniently located to all the beauty Alsace has to offer. But we also found "staying at home" delightful. The house is really fully equipped. The sauna and hot tub are wonderful and the table tennis table was also used a lot.
