La Cavallina is a farm in the hills near the Castle of Larciano that produces quality extra virgin olive oil also SlowFood Presidium. As our Guests you can enjoy days of absolute relaxation in the old Barn that we have finely restored. The Barn is immersed in the centuries-old olive grove and enjoys magnificent views of the Valdinievole and the Padule di Fucecchio, ranging from the hill of San Miniato in the south to the Apuan Alps and the Apennines in the west and north.

Nature and surroundings

Going out on foot, you can reach the village of Cecina along the pleasant and scenic CAI trail, or go to Larciano Castello along the carriage road, to perhaps observe the valley from the top of the tower. For sports enthusiasts, the same trails lend themselves magnificently to mountain bike rides, which can also stretch all the way to Montalbano; or you can head to the Montecatini Golf Club, which-despite its name-is only a few hundred meters as the crow flies from the Fienile, although it takes about ten minutes by car to reach.
