This is a really nice place to completely unwind and connect with silence and nature. Our house is halfway up a hill in a green valley where olive and almond trees alternate with pines and shrubs. We live here deliberately "off-grid"; the sun gives us energy through solar panels; we collect rainwater for daily use (showering, washing, toilet). We make drinking water available free of charge.Our Nature House (since 2024) has 3 bedrooms, each with a completely unique atmosphere. The largest room has an annex bathroom & air conditioning/heating. The other 2 use the outdoor bathroom. There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and several seating areas on the property. A beautiful swimming pool with stunning views completes it all. We offer individual relaxing Rebalancing massages and Sound Sessions. Or choose a 1-day Retreat, where we combine these with Active Meditations. More info on site.
Nature and surroundings
The hinterland of Castellón is surprisingly green, empty and mountainous with beautiful old villages. From our Finca you can already start a short or longer walk through the hills. Our house is located 3 km from the typical Spanish village Useras, with narrow alleys and bars. Nearby starts the long-distance trail GR33. This is 65km long and runs from the city of Castellón (sea level) to the top of Mount Penyagolosa (1814m). Nearby are several National Parks with marked hiking and cycling routes: Desertes de las Palmes, Sierra d'Engarcerán and the Sierra d'Irta. If desired, we can facilitate your hiking tours with transportation for a proper fee. Wide beaches with cozy eateries are about 40 minutes by car (for example, Benicasim and Alcossebre). The hinterland offers several attractive old villages and towns, often with old castles and city walls, which are well worth visiting and enjoying a tasty lunch.

Nature, peace & environment:We had a wonderful stay. The peace and quiet and space did us good. We slept very well (good beds!) and cooked delicious meals in the fine outdoor kitchen. The swimming pool was also a plus. In the area you can make beautiful walks and visit nice towns. Thank you very much for the nice stay and all the good care.
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. De rust en ruimte deed ons goed. We hebben heel lekker geslapen (goede bedden!) en lekker gekookt in de fijne buitenkeuken. Het zwembad was ook een pré. The owners Pieter and Bernadette gave many tips what to do in the area. There is still little tourism in the area so it was nice and quiet. Also the beaches are not overcrowded nearby. It was a 40-minute drive to the beach. There are very nice towns/villages to visit. You can make beautiful walks.
