Nature house in Arnhem

A lovely simple yet comfortable stay, very smartly built and decorated, all the basics are there and feel luxurious, everything has been thought of. Coffee, delicious herbal tea, washing up liquid, hand soap, shampoo and body wash were provided and on arrival as a welcome two nice beers and 2 bottles of water in the fridge.The nights were cold outside but inside the temperature was fine.It was a lovely stay.

Een heerlijk eenvoudig en toch comfortabel verblijf, zeer slim gebouwd en ingericht, alle basics zijn aanwezig en voelen luxe aan, aan alles is gedacht. Koffie, heerlijke kruidenthee, afwasmiddel, handzeep, shampoo en bodywash waren aanwezig en bij aankomst als welkom twee lekkere biertjes en 2 flesjes water in de koelkast.
De nachten waren koud buiten maar binnen was de temperatuur prima te regelen.
Het was er heerlijk vertoeven.

The cottage is on a sandy hill, it is a little plowing through loose sand before you get to the front door, that gives a rural feeling :). It was very peaceful and quiet around us, the view over the meadows was nice. From the cottage you walk directly into a forest and then you can also just go to Il Lupo, a great Italian restaurant where you can have dinner or breakfast. We had bikes with us, did not use the car further. Both Arnhem and the Hoge Veluwe and the Veluwezoom were within cycling range and we enjoyed ourselves.

Het huisje staat op een zandbergje, het is even ploegen door rul zand voordat je bij de voordeur bent, dat geeft een landelijk gevoel :). Het was heel rustig en stil om ons heen, het uitzicht over de weilanden was fijn. Vanuit het huisje loop je direct een bos in en dan kun je zomaar ook naar Il Lupo, een geweldig Italiaans restaurant waar je kunt dineren of ontbijten.
We hadden fietsen mee, de auto niet gebruikt verder. Zowel Arnhem als de Hoge Veluwe als de Veluwezoom waren binnen fietsbereik en we hebben genoten.

The house is clean and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. There is no oven. Ventilation is only possible via the front door and the roof hatch that leads to a small roof terrace. There are no curtains, so the hatches have to be closed in the evening, the path goes past the bedroom. You can't drive directly in front by car. So you have your peace and quiet, but you have to carry everything you bring with you over a gravel path. The parking lot is about 5 minutes away. But the car is very safe there.

Das Haus ist sauber und für den Aufenthalt gut ausgestattet mit allem
was man braucht.

Backofen ist nicht vorhanden.
Lüften geht nur über die Haustür und die Dachluke die zu einer kleinen Dachterrasse führt.
Es gibt keine Vorhänge, abends müssen dann die Luken geschlossen werden, der Weg geht am Schlafzimmer vorbei.
Man kann mit dem Auto nicht direkt vor fahren. So hat man seine Ruhe, muss aber alles was man mitbringt über einen Kiesweg tragen. Der Parkplatz ist etwa 5min entfernt. Da steht das Auto aber sehr sicher.

We can highly recommend it! The house is in a very quiet location in the middle of nature. Perfect for relaxing and going for a walk. There is another house in the immediate vicinity, but this is not a problem. There are a total of 11 houses in the grounds, all individually and architecturally beautifully designed. However, everything is so spacious that you are very much to yourself. Pedestrians pass by from time to time, but this is not disturbing.

Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage Mitten in der Natur.
Perfekt zum entspannen und spazieren gehen.

In direkter Nähe befindet sich ein weiteres Haus, was aber nicht stört. Auf dem Gelände sind insgesamt 11 Häuser, alle individuell und architektonisch super schön gestaltet. Alles ist aber so weitläufig, dass man sehr für sich ist.
Ab und an gehen Fußgänger vorbei, was aber nicht stört.

It is a very nice cottage and the view is great. It has all the necessary things to spend a very nice weekend. The roof terrace has a real added value because you are completely hidden there. It is also blissful inside when the roof hatch is open. Too bad it wasn't very clear that there are other houses close by. Also, people regularly walk right in front of the window, which disturbs the experience.

Het is een zeer leuk huisje en het uitzicht is geweldig. Het heeft alle nodige zaken om een heel leuk weekendje door te brengen. Het dakterras heeft een echte meerwaarde, omdat je daar helemaal verborgen zit. Ook is het binnen zalig als het dakluik open staat. Jammer dat het niet heel duidelijk was dat er nog huisjes vlak bij zijn. Ook wandelen er geregeld mensen vlak voor het raam, wat de ervaring verstoort.
