Nature house in st Hilaire en Morvan

It is a wooden house of 20m2. The large windows provide beautiful light inside and a beautiful view over the fields. The stairs to the entrance lead down from the embankment of the old railroad line. The rails of the railroad are sometimes used in summer for a rail bike. The house has a kitchen, bathroom with shower and a composting toilet. On the level are two mattresses on slats. And you can see the sun coming up. The level has standing room only in the middle. Not useful if you have knee and hip problems. Downstairs there is a sofa bed. The wood stove warms the house pleasantly. Self-sufficiency and caring for the place characterize the stay. Guests bring their own sheets and towels, do their own cleaning and replenish supplies, when used. If one cannot bring one's own bedding, a sheet set can be rented, after consultation. It is appreciated if subsequent guests are welcomed in the guestbook. This creates a connection between all travelers.

The Morvan is a beautiful hiking area. From the house you can walk into the forest on top of the hill. There you will always find traces of boars foxes deer and badgers. In the spring there is an abundance of songbirds in the area. The large and peaceful lake, lac de Pannecière, is fifteen minutes away. Next to the house is Wadse and Mathilde's permaculture garden, where baskets of vegetables can also be purchased. The largest Celtic excavation in europe, Bibracte, with its museum is a fun and exciting excursion. The Basilica of Vezelay, the gardens of Avallon and the Roman remains in Autun are other historical possibilities for visits. The Morvan is known for its many lakes and vast forests.
