We spend 2 months a year in our house. The deep tranquillity of the place, the simplicity and originality enrich our lives. We are happy to share this place with you. The former farmhouse is situated in the hilly foothills of the Pyrenees in a very quiet location on the edge of the forest, outside the village of Sedéilhac. Lovingly restored by us over many years, the house is simply and clearly furnished inside with wooden furniture. We ask you to bring your own bed linen, towels and slippers.
Nature and surroundings
The Nature house is located outside the village, Sedéilhac, on the edge of the forest. The village of around 60 inhabitants consists of a few farms and an old church in the "center" as well as widely scattered farms. There is hardly any traffic on the only road. It is very quiet here. You live all to yourself, and yet the regular ringing of the church bell and the mooing of the cows connect you to the village. Due to its remoteness, you are reliant on your own vehicles or your legs in Sedeilhac. The Pyrenees are a great opportunity for exciting excursions. We go hiking in the mountains here ourselves several times a year. The region has a variety of original farmers' markets, some beautiful lakes, many stalactite caves and the historic cathedral "Notre-Dame de Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges", dating back to the 12th century.

Upon arrival we noticed that the cottage was spacious and bright. It was very neat and clean and smelled deliciously of floor polish. There was nothing too much and certainly nothing too little! The garden was large, private and nicely decorated. The dog could run free but be careful with a hunting dog because from the forest the deer came into the garden early in the morning. There was a fine wood stove for the cool evenings with a clear explanation. The beds were good. There were plenty of comforters. The kitchen was practical and nice to use. If you are looking for peace, space and a place to unwind then this place is definitely recommended! The Pyrenees nearby for mountain hiking!
