Our farm is in Parfondeval, officially a "Beau Village," located in the middle of the Thierache region. It is a quiet region in a picturesque landscape. The village of Parfondeval has 175 inhabitants. Our house is on the outskirts of the village and overlooks the hills. In our converted farmhouse there is a gite (small vacation home) situated at the front. The gite has its own terrace and a large private garden of about 300 m2. Also, the gite is equipped with all the facilities for 4 people to have a quiet and nice vacation. We also have additional facilities for families with small children and / or a baby. There are in combination with the gite 2 camping spots for rent including electricity, water, sanitary facilities and beautiful views. Dogs are allowed in the house and garden. However, you must walk the dog outside the property. Wood for the fireplace is provided at no extra charge.

It is a village on the edge of the French Ardennes in the department of Aisne. A very quiet area in a hilly landscape. The village of Parfondeval has 175 inhabitants. It is a real farming village, where the people are friendly and helpful and it is very quiet. Our house is on the outskirts of the village and overlooks the hills. In the area there are a lot of nice things to do and do. In the immediate vicinity you can mountain bike and road bike. It is a hilly landscape with quiet and challenging routes. The village itself has a restaurant (Le Relais de la Chouette) and a fortified church that is open to the public. It is possible to walk the "Tour du Parfondeval. This is a walking tour of Parfondeval with audio guidance, with equipment to pick up at the restaurant. There are many fortified churches in the region 'Thierache' and Parfondeval is part of them.
