Hiking trails lead directly to the Döbraberg at 795 m above sea level. From the top of the Prinz-Luitpold tower, you have a magnificent view. There is also the possibility of a llama hike to the Döbraberg; dates by arrangement with the organizer. Nearby there is also a cross-country skiing center, many mountain bike trails and an extensive network of hiking trails in all directions. The guest parking lot is right next to the vacation home. In the village there is a bakery, a small butcher's shop and a highly recommended country inn. Supermarkets are 3 km away in Schwarzenbach am Wald. There are also other restaurants, petrol stations and banks. The Franconian Forest offers other very extensive hiking areas, such as the Höllental near Hölle/Marxgrün/Naila.
