Nature house in Arnhem

In mid-June 2026, we stayed at this beautiful spot “off the beaten path.” Despite the hot weather (frequently over 30 degrees), it was a pleasant place to stay; the combination of sheer window shades, an air cooler, and a natural ventilation system ensured that the house cooled down nicely again in the evening; all of this happened while we were still enjoying the beautiful songbirds on the terrace.

The house is clearly well-thought-out in both design and furnishings, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Our communication with the host was also perfect; we always received a quick and helpful response.

Three nights weren’t enough for us; all in all, highly recommended.

Medio juni 2026 verbleven wij op deze mooie plek 'onder de radar'. Ondanks het warme weer (meermaals 30+ graden) was het goed toeven; de combinatie van transparante zonwering, aircooler en natuurlijke ventilatiesysteem zorgde ervoor dat de woning in de avond weer goed terug koelde; dit alles gebeurde terwijl wij nog op het terras van prachtige zangvogels aan het genieten waren.

Het huis is overduidelijk goed doordacht ontworpen en ook ingericht, en van alle noodzakelijke gemakken voorzien. Ook het contact met de verhuurder was perfect; altijd een snelle en waardevolle reactie.

Wij hadden aan 3 nachten niet genoeg; al met al erg aan te raden.

The accommodation is located in a charming and peaceful area that combines beautiful nature with interesting architecture and history. Furthermore, the Hoge Veluwe—with its stunning natural scenery—and the wonderful Kröller-Müller Museum are both within easy walking distance of the accommodation, as are other lovely outings such as the Klompenpad near the Warnsborn estate.

Het verblijf is gelegen in een leuk en rustig gebied met mooie natuur gecombineerd met interessante architectuur en geschiedenis. Verder zijn de Hoge Veluwe met hierin prachtige natuur en het geweldige Kröller-Müller museum ook te voet goed aan te lopen vanaf het verblijf, en dit geldt voor meer mooie uitjes zoals het Klompenpad nabij landgoed Warnsborn.

Beautiful and practical cottage. Of all amenities. We only missed egg cups and the handle for the pans sometimes let go.

Mooi en praktisch huisje. Van alle gemakken voorzien. We misten alleen eierdopjes en de handgreep voor de pannen liet soms los.

Fine layout, beautiful house and nice in the middle of funny neighborhood. So in arnhem and so the national park. Handy with the key. Easy contact with owner. Everything was available. Only towels we forgot. 1 tip would be screens. It was pretty hot upstairs and there were all these black flies when you opened the window.

Fijne indeling, prachtig huisje en leuk midden in grappig wijkje. Zo in arnhem en zo het nationale park. Handig met de sleutel. Makkelijk contact met eigenaar. Alles was voorhanden. Alleen handdoeken waren we vergeten. 1 tip zouden nog horren zijn. Het was behoorlijk warm boven en er waren allemaal zwarte vliegjes als je het raam opende
