Nature and surroundings
Our cozy vacation home is located in the rural town of Heikruis-Pepingen, in the heart of the rolling Pajottenland region. The cottage is nestled in our 12,500 m² park-like garden, which is maintained entirely using ecological methods, among old trees, and features a private garden of approximately 50 m². Squirrels, nuthatches, tree creepers, woodpeckers, owls, buzzards, long-tailed tits, chiffchaffs, and more can be spotted to your heart’s content. Experience nature outdoors, but also indoors thanks to the large windows in the living area and from the bedroom as well. Are you a nature lover? Then this place is for you. It’s also the ideal base for hiking and biking trips in this region. Also: 4 km from Ter Rijst Park and Castle; 7 km from beautiful Gooik, the pearl of the Pajottenland; 10 km from the town of Edingen and its park; 15 km from the Hallerbos; 30 km from Pairi Daiza, and 25 km from Brussels. One downside is the microwave/grill oven, which isn't a regular oven... So you can't make oven-baked dishes.
Een minpunt is de magnetron /grill oven die geen gewone oven is.. Dus geen oven gerechten kunnen maken
Saw lots of different animals
Veel verschillende dieren gezien
