On a beautiful location in the Betuwe overlooking mill de Korenbloem, free view over the meadows and river Linge, is our small but cozy guesthouse. It is one room containing an enclosed toilet and shower, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, electric 2-burner stove, oven, sandwich maker, (filter) coffee maker and kettle. It is comfortably furnished with a generous double bed, 2 armchairs and a table, TV/chromecast, radio-CD player. Heating by wood stove and/or electric heater. Parking space across the street. Private entrance through garden gate. Private garden with 2 garden chairs, a fire basket and long dining table with 2 benches. In the summer possibility of hanging a hammock and use of bbq. Bicycles can be kept dry under cover and charged there. Free use of 2 person canoe.
Nature and surroundings
Our guesthouse is located in an active agricultural area in the Betuwe, completely detached to the mill of Zoelen. The garden is adjacent to a meadow where after 60m flows the Linge and where a wooden shoe path runs through and along. We were pleasantly surprised by the surroundings, the cottage and the garden. The cottage is located on a through road. So you do not have absolute silence. This was not a problem for us. Nice was also the owl box in the tree, where 2 Little Owls were. We spotted these two evenings:-)
We waren aangenaam verrast door de omgeving, het huisje en de tuin. Het huisje ligt wel aan een doorgaande weg. Absolute stilte heb je dus niet. Dit was voor ons verder geen probleem. Leuk was ook de uilenkast in de boom, waar 2 Steenuiltjes in zaten. Deze hebben wij dan ook 2 avonden gespot:-)
