Our small but cozy guesthouse is situated in a beautiful location in the Betuwe, with a view of the Korenbloem windmill and unobstructed views of the meadows and the Linge River. It consists of a single room featuring a private toilet and shower, a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, electric 2-burner stovetop, small oven, mini air fryer, #(filter)coffee maker, and a kettle. It’s cozily furnished with a spacious double bed, two armchairs, and a small table, as well as a TV with Chromecast and a radio/CD player. Heating is provided by a wood stove and/or an electric space heater. Parking is available across the street. Private entrance through a garden gate. Private garden with two garden chairs, a fire pit, and a long dining table with two benches. In the summer, you can hang a hammock and use the BBQ. Bicycles can be stored dry under a shelter, where they can also be charged. Free use of a two-person canoe.
Nature and surroundings
Our guesthouse is located in an active agricultural area in the Betuwe, completely detached and across from the Zoelen windmill. The garden borders a meadow; 60 meters away, the Linge River flows, and a clog path runs through and alongside it. If you cross the street—which can get a bit busy at certain times—you’ll reach the Soelen Estate within 3 minutes. The estate features a castle managed by Staatsbosbeheer, where you can enjoy lovely walks. The village has a restaurant and a café/snack bar. There are recreational beaches in nearby villages such as Avezaathen and Beusichem. Within 5 minutes, you’ll be on the A15 highway or in Tiel, where you’ll find amenities such as a hospital, shops, restaurants, a theater, the Flipjes Museum, and more. The many cycling routes lead to destinations such as the historic, picturesque town of Buren, Amerongen, or Wijk bij Duurstede. In the spring, there are various blossom routes to explore; later in the season, there are cherry, apple, or pear routes. The Fruit Parade and Appelpop are major events in September.

Very well taken care of
Heel goed vezorgd
A very cozy and compact cottage—it has everything you need. A comfortable bed, nice (swivel) chairs where I enjoyed reading, a beautiful garden with a hammock, the option to build a fire both indoors and outdoors, and a fully equipped kitchenette. Everything was absolutely perfect! For those seeking complete peace and quiet, there is some noise from the road, but it didn’t bother me. I’ll definitely be back here again :)
Alles tip top in orde! Voor de complete rustzoekers is er wel wat lawaai vanaf de weg, maar dat heeft mij niet gestoord. Ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug :)

A very cozy and comfortable little house with everything you could possibly need.
Heel knus en gezellig huisje met alles wat je maar nodig zou kunnen hebben.
A beautiful view of the lovely garden and the meadow beyond, with the Linge River and a clog path. On the other side is the road, which can get quite busy at certain times of day. But that road also makes it easy to get back on the road by bike.
Een mooi uitzicht over de fijne tuin, en het grasland daarachter met de Linge en een klompenpad. Aan de andere kant de weg, met op sommige uren veel verkeer. Maar die weg brengt je ook op de fiets weer makkelijk 'op weg'.
