Welcome to our 17th-century converted water mill, an attractive faluro-red wooden house of 90 m² overlooking a waterfall. The cozy living room has a comfortable sitting area, crackling wood stove and sofa bed for additional guests. There are 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 with 2 single beds), a shower and toilet. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook and eat together overlooking the water. Outside you will find a mill/swimming pond and a wood-fired sauna. A unique place for a romantic weekend, family vacation or an outing with friends in the middle of Sweden's beautiful nature.
Nature and surroundings
Our mill is located in a rolling landscape with forests, lakes and authentic fields, surrounded by typical falurode farms. Perfect for hiking, cycling, motorcycling and nature experience. The town of Vetlanda is about 25 km away with a picturesque ski resort in winter. Växjö, the greenest city in the EU, is approx. 45 km away with stores, restaurants and culture. Supermarket (approx. 10km) and basic facilities can be found at approx. 15 km. On our plot there is also a cozy cottage, which can be booked separately. The wood-fired sauna is shared with both accommodations; if both are rented, you can specify in consultation at what time you want to use it. A perfect place for peace, nature, romance or quality time with family and friends, any season.

The area around the house is perfect for wonderful walks. The house itself has a nice canopy that you can sit under even with rain. The bed is fine. What we found very disappointing is the lack of peace and privacy. Less than 30 meters from the house is another cottage. These guests also use the garden, sauna and swimming / fishing pond. This is not a problem if you know in advance and choose this. However, this is not mentioned on the website.
