Welcome to our 17th-century converted watermill, a picturesque faluro-red wooden house of approximately 90m2, steeped in charm. Upon entering, you are welcomed by a cozy living room, overlooking the waterfall, complete with a crackling wood stove, perfect for relaxing evenings after a day of adventure. The living room also features a comfortable sofa bed for additional guests. We offer 2 charming bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. A shower and toilet are located in the accommodation for your convenience. Our cozy kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare delicious and tasty dishes. Enjoy your meal at the dining table while overlooking the waterfall and soothing views. Outside, enjoy natural beauty with mill/swimming pond and for ultimate relaxation, we also offer a wood-fired sauna. For an unforgettable family, friends or romantic getaway in an enchanting setting.
Nature and surroundings
Be surprised by its rich nature and culture. It is friendly rolling hills filled with forests and lakes. The authentic small fields surrounded by stones and the typical Swedish falurode farms make the visit worthwhile even by bicycle/motorbike. Nearby is Vetlanda where in winter is a picturesque ski resort. Also Vaxjo the greenest big city in the EU within driving distance. Rya kvarn is a unique place for a romantic getaway, for work inspiration or for time with your family or friends in short at the mill can do it all. On our plot is also a cozy cottage, this is also bookable. Relax in the wood-fired sauna. If both accommodations are rented you can specify at what time you want to use the sauna. You can end the sauna with a dip in the lake. In winter you can go tobogganing on the slopes in the area. A cozy kitchen where you can dine extensively with a nightcap by the pleasant crackling of the wood stove.
