I converted part of my studio into an apartment, using as many reused materials as possible. This gives it a unique character with many artistic details. The studio is next to my residence, surrounded by the garden. The entrance to the apartment is on the side of the studio a has its own entrance. I am a gardener at heart and have a natural garden with a wide variety of plants, native and exotic. Respect for nature and wonder at what grows and flourishes is essential to my approach. The gardens are open by appointment. I am regularly working in the studio myself, so if there are questions I am easy to find. There is a dry compost toilet in the outbuilding next to the apartment. There is a sofa bed in the living area for the third guest to sleep.
Nature and surroundings
This is a fantastic place to experience the peace and beauty of western Ireland. Far from the daily routine and at the same time it is easily accessible- Foxford is 5 km, and Swinford 8 km,- knock international airport is 20 minutes drive.In this area, are many opportunities for walking, cycling and fishing. Callow gardens lie at the foot of the Ox-Mountains, Have views of Callow lakes, and are not far from lakes Lough Conn and Cullin. The coast is not far either, and it is possible to attend custom gardening workshops.
