Nature and surroundings

There are many opportunities to enjoy nature in the surrounding area. These include the Hoekelumse Bos, the Ginkelse Heide, the Binnenveldse Hooilanden around the Grift, the Rhine floodplains near Wageningen, the Grebbeberg, De Blauwe Kamer, Renkums Beekdal, and Kwintelooijen—too many to list. The cycling route passes right by the house. Those interested in the period from 1940 to 1945 will find plenty to enjoy. Consider, for example, the Grebbeberg and the Airborne Museum Hartenstein in Oosterbeek. And don’t forget the Airborne reenactment on the Ginkelse Heide in Ede in September.

Upon arrival, we discovered that there was no TV in the cottage. The owner explained why it was missing. It might be a good idea to explicitly mention this in the cottage’s listing on your website.
We were also surprised to be told upon arrival that the cost of energy usage during our stay would be deducted from the security deposit. We would have liked to know this in advance. In effect, this amounts to an increase in the rental price. We believe this should be disclosed beforehand.

A lovely cottage with somewhat cramped surroundings. The cottage is fully equipped. Friendly owners.
