Cozy cottage on the edge of the forest, overlooking lawn and fruit trees. All basic amenities are provided. Also a washing and drying machine are nearby; on the adjacent Camping Fiederels. By the way, this campground also has a cozy cozy cafe.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is on the edge of the forest overlooking lawn and fruit and nut trees. Around Nearby Camping Fiederels (with café) is a mountain bike route, and mountain bikes are available for rent here. Nearby is a forest with sports equipment. In the slightly wider surroundings are a nice recreational lake (De Wellerwaard), villages worth visiting (the water sports village of Lemmer and the former fishing village of Urk), and also De Orchideeënhoeve and national monument the Waterloopbos are worth visiting. This lush Waterloopbos contains historic scale models of 30 water works that provided insights for water projects in many places around the world. On the World Heritage List are the former island in the Zuiderzee Schokland, which can be cycled to from Emmeloord along a beautiful shell path. Getting a breath of fresh air on the dike, where hardly anyone is ever seen, is also wonderful.
