Enjoy a nice walk through the woods, a long bike ride or the wood-fired hot tub. Our studio in its own yard, sheltered among the trees, is 2023 built and fully equipped for 2 people. In the bedroom there is a double bed (160x210) and you will find plenty of storage space for clothes. The bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and rain shower. Bath and bed linen is included. The kitchen is very complete and includes an electric stove, dishwasher, combination microwave, nespresso machine, kettle and refrigerator. Coffee and tea is included, as well as kitchen linen. The studio is electrically heated and cooled (air conditioning). Outside you will find beautiful spots among the trees, where you will also find the luxurious wood-fired hot tub. You can use this in consultation and against extra payment (€ 40 for the first time and € 25 per next time incl bath slippers and bath towels).
Nature and surroundings
From our plot you walk directly onto the (forest) trails of Staatsbosbeheer to the forests and beautiful estates of Oranjewoud. From the location are several beautiful hiking trails to walk. The plot is adjacent to a canal (Prinsewyk). From our dock it is possible to fish, canoe (there is a canoe rental nearby) or suppen (bring your own board). The area also invites for cycling through this beautiful part of Friesland with its beautiful landscapes and cozy villages. The location is centrally located near Heerenveen. Other larger towns such as Sneek and Leeuwarden are also within easy reach. On short cycling distance you will find Museum Belvédère in Oranjewoud. We would have liked a nice bench inside, chairs were a bit uncomfortable.
We hadden graag een lekker bankje gehad binnen, stoeltjes zaten wat ongemakkelijk.
We had a wonderful time in the cottage in the Knipe.It was quiet and we enjoyed the birds and horses nearby! Hiked in the Oranjewoud, storks seen on their nests, spring is coming! The second evening sat in the hot tub and that was fantastic.Nice owners, they had put delicious eggs in the refrigerator and oh yes, the egg cups were missing, small point..... Other than that, fine.The bed was top!

Het was er rustig en we hebben genoten van de vogeltjes en de paarden vlakbij!
Gewandeld in het Oranjewoud, ooievaars gezien op hun nesten, de lente is in aantocht!
De tweede avond in de hottub gezeten en dat was fantastisch.
Aardige eigenaars, ze hadden lekkere eitjes in de koelkast gezet en o ja, de eierdopjes ontbraken, klein puntje.....

A very nice, quiet and beautiful place. Wake up every morning with the sound of the birds, the Oranjewoud -for long walks- around the corner and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Found it a very nice stay, where I enjoyed relaxing in a clean cottage with all the comforts.
Een hele fijne, rustige en mooie plek. Elke ochtend wakker worden met het geluid van de vogels, het Oranjewoud -om lange wandelingen te maken- om de hoek en de eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
