Nature house in Baldramsdorf

First and foremost, it’s a charming little house to look at, with beautiful, large windows offering a lovely view. It’s in a quiet location and has everything you need. A nice bathroom and a comfortable bedroom with beds. Plenty of space to enjoy meals and play games both outdoors and indoors. Also suitable for families (up to 4 people).
A few minor drawbacks: The kitchen is on the small side. While we were there, we had to restart the water heater every time we needed hot water, and the kitchen faucet was loose (we reported this to the owners). Also, one of the roller blinds wasn’t secured properly. But other than that, it was great.

Het is in de eerste plaats een leuk huisje om te zien, met mooie grote ramen voor een mooi uitzicht. Het is rustig gelegen en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Mooie badkamer en goede slaapkamer met bedden. Voldoende ruimte om gezellig buiten maar ook binnen te eten en spelletjes te doen. Ook geschikt voor gezinnen (max. 4 personen).
Wat kleine minpuntjes: De keuken is aan de kleine kant. Toen wij er waren moesten we elke keer de boiler opnieuw opstarten voor warm water en de kraan in de keuken zat los (gemeld bij de eigenaren). En 1 van de rolgordijnen was niet goed bevestigd. Maar verder top.

A charming cottage in a quiet location where local Austrians have their vacation homes. Yet everything you need is nearby. From the cottage, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy Austria’s natural beauty, as well as to visit the surrounding villages and towns. It’s an ideal summer base for hiking in the area and enjoying recreational activities at Lake Millstatt.

Leuk huisje op een rustige locatie waar de lokale Oostenrijkers hun buitenhuisje hebben. Toch is alles wat je nodig hebt dichtbij. Vanuit het huisje veel gelegenheid om van de Oostenrijkse natuur te genieten maar ook om de omliggende dorpjes en stadjes te bezoeken. Zeer geschikt om in de zomer als uitvalsbasis te gebruiken om in de omgeving te wandelen en te recreëren bij het Millstätter meer.

The water heater had to be turned on an hour before showering, handy to know, now we had cold water first. Cooking is fine in the cottage but space is small. Seems a bit like camping, which in itself was not bad as far as we were concerned.

De boiler moest een uur voor het douchen worden aangezet, handig om te weten, nu hadden we eerst koud water.
Koken kan prima in het huisje maar ruimte is klein. Lijkt wat op kamperen, wat op zich wat ons betreft niet erg was.

Beautiful and complete Tiny house. We did miss some instructions for example where to put the garbage. Contact with the landlord is good. The park where the cottage is located is still partly under construction, which makes it look a bit dilapidated and untidy here and there. In the vicinity of the cottage is much to do, beautiful nature. You do need the car or bike for this. Great environment for the dog. There is no fence outside so a dog can easily leave the premises.

Mooi en compleet Tiny House. We misten wel wat aanwijzingen bijvoorbeeld waar we het afval kwijt konden. Contact met de verhuurder is goed.
Het parkje waar het huisje ligt is gedeeltelijk nog in aanbouw, dat maakt dat het er hier en daar wat vervallen en slordig uitziet. Mogelijk wordt dat nog beter in de toekomst.
In de omgeving van het huisje is veel te doen, prachtige natuur. Je hebt hiervoor wel de auto of fiets nodig.
Fijne omgeving voor de hond. Er is buiten geen hek waardoor een hond wel makkelijk het terrein af kan.
