Coming home to Rantwijck is driving up or down the beautiful Wildeborchseweg, and stopping at the gate of the same name. The apartment is located beside the farmhouse and is 55 m2 that from the sofa in the room overlooks the meadow, where in summer the cows graze or cool off in the woods. On the terrace in the shade of the large walnut tree, two lounge chairs by the pond with frogs, fish and dragonflies let you dream away with a drink and a snack. In the evening, retreat to the cozy apartment, prepare a meal in the kitchenette, eat it at the spacious table in the apartment or enjoy the sunset over the meadow. The next morning you wake up to the birds in the forest, have your first cup of coffee in bed, and your day has begun!
Nature and surroundings
Rantwijck, as its name suggests, is located on the edge of Veldwijk, on the eastern border of Vorden. It lies in the middle of the forest, directly on the extensive hiking area the Grote Veld, a junction of mountain bike routes and of course central to the famous Pieterpad. Located between the castles of the Wildenborch, De Wiersse and Vorden, a nice bike ride along the 8 Castles Route is obvious. A little further away, on the "good" side of the IJssel, you will find the smallest town in the Netherlands, Bronckhorst, and the Hanseatic cities of Doesburg and Zutphen. But you better find out for yourself, you are most welcome!
